Some of the Spinster's Favorite Things
Rapid Fire LeMoyne Star and Rapid Fire Hunter's Star rulers
These rulers make it so easy to make blocks that are difficult to piece accurately the traditional way. I have always loved the LeMoyne Star, especially, but doing all those points and that 8-point center was daunting and I was seldom happy with the results. With this ruler, I couldn't stop making the stars!
Craftsy Online Classes
I'd be embarrassed to tell you how many Craftsy classes have my name on the enrollment list. I hope to be selling at least some of my patterns on Craftsy soon, but even if I weren't, I'd still say that I love Craftsy classes. The instructors are knoweldgeable and well prepared, the video lessons are professionally and well done, and you have accees to your classes for life. I love that you can interact with the instructor and fellow students. Craftsy
BlockFab, QuiltFab, QuiltRef (iDevice apps)
My sister created these apps and they're amazing--and free! BlockFab lets you select blocks from a library of more than 50 blocks, choose a colorway and layouts, change number of blocks, and alternate with plain or other blocks. It will tell you how much fabric you need for a quilt, and show you how to cut the pieces.
QuiltFab figures the size of squares to cut for setting and corner triangles, how much fabric you need for borders and backing, and more.
QuiltRef helps you with hand quilting information.
We also blogged every week for a year, with instructions for how to piece each of the original 52 blocks, plus sharing examples of quilts made from those blocks. 'Round the Blocks blog

We all love our Local Quilt Shops, don't we? Becky and Kim own a great shop, with a modern twist. I'm pleased that they offer my patterns as a part of their extensive selection. Cut Up and Quilt
